Request for Information (RFI)
The State of Delaware is issuing a Request for Information (RFI) to identify interest from qualified partners and behavioral health treatment organizations in potentially becoming a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) in Delaware. The purpose of this RFI is to assess provider interest. No funding will be awarded through this RFI. This is an important step in Delaware’s initiative to understanding the potential future expansion of access to comprehensive, high-quality, integrated mental health and substance use disorder services.
CCBHCs are federally supported models of care, by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), that ensure access to a comprehensive range of evidence-based services, including 24/7 crisis care, to anyone in need, regardless of their ability to pay or place of residence. The model is centered on providing integrated care that meets stringent federal criteria for service accessibility, quality reporting, and robust care coordination with physical health care providers, hospitals, and social services.
